Reena Clare is a qualified Art Psychotherapist. Using an eclectic approach, a wide range of theory and working in culturally aware dimensions, sessions are personalised to meet the client’s needs. Art Psychotherapy is a psychological therapy that she uses to help clients address complex and confusing emotions, foster self-awareness, work through trauma, challenging behaviours and mental health conditions using creative medium.
She is a certified Practitioner in Children’s Accelerated Trauma Treatment (CATT), Mentalization Based Art Therapy, Mindfullness in Art Therapy, Art Therapy in Education, Schema Therapy and Neuro Dramatic Play Therapy Clients do not need to have any art skill to use art psychotherapy. Trained visually, the Art Psychotherapist will help you explore your image making and assist you in genuinely exploring your feelings.
Reena has worked in London with various clients including those living with mental health diagnosis, special needs, bereavement, dementia, addictions and physical health conditions in the NHS, Westminster Arts, Kids Company and The European Reminiscence Network.
In Malaysia she practices privately at The Mind Faculty seeing clients who are adults, children and parents in individual, group or family session.
